1. What UNHEARD Is
UNHEARD provides a platform intended to facilitate private conversations between people. UNHEARD is designed for people who want to talk, share thoughts, tell stories, or simply have someone listen. UNHEARD is not a medical, mental-health, therapy, counseling, psychiatric, crisis-intervention, or emergency service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use UNHEARD unless UNHEARD expressly states otherwise. By using the Service, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will use the Service lawfully.
3. Anonymous Use
UNHEARD may allow you to choose a display name or remain anonymous to your listener. This does not mean UNHEARD itself has no identifying information. We may need contact, transaction, technical, or other information necessary to operate the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
4. Conversations
UNHEARD facilitates conversations with listeners. Unless expressly stated otherwise, listeners are not represented as licensed healthcare professionals. You are responsible for decisions you make based on anything discussed during a conversation.
5. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use UNHEARD to harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, abuse, exploit minors, commit fraud, facilitate criminal conduct, distribute illegal content, interfere with the Service, upload malicious software, or misuse another person’s information.
6. Safety
UNHEARD is not an emergency service. If you believe you or another person is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource immediately.
7. Payments and Appointments
Prices are displayed before purchase. Booking a time does not itself finalize an appointment. Payment must be completed through the payment link provided by UNHEARD. Once an appointment has been finalized, payment is non-refundable except where required by law or expressly provided in the Refund Policy.
8. No-Show
For phone appointments, UNHEARD may make up to three call attempts. Failure to answer those attempts constitutes a No Show. For online appointments, failure to join the provided meeting link at the scheduled time constitutes a No Show. No refunds are provided for No Shows.
9. Privacy
Your use of UNHEARD is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Avoid sharing passwords, financial credentials, government identification numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information.
10. Availability
We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
11. Third-Party Services
UNHEARD may use third-party providers for payments, email, scheduling, hosting, communications, analytics, and other functionality.
12. Intellectual Property
The UNHEARD name, branding, website, software, design, text, graphics, and other materials provided by UNHEARD are owned by or licensed to UNHEARD and protected by applicable law.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UNHEARD is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your expectations, that a conversation will be beneficial, or that the Service will produce a particular result.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, UNHEARD and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, our business, or to comply with legal obligations.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance, subject to applicable law.
